I
am the manager at Kipling Lions, I have three children.
I became involved in Kipling Lions in 1989 when my eldest daughter started St Patricks Playgroup. I joined the committee there and enjoyed my time volunteering, after four years on the committee (2 years as secretary) I decided to retrain and attained my level 3 qualification.
Whilst on the committee one of our biggest achievements was to move from the church hall into a portacabin on the school grounds, with the help of the then headmaster and Woodingdean Lions.
Kipling Lions was born in April 1993. I started work at Kipling Lions in January 1994 and was made manager in 1997. I have seen lots of changes over the years with the introduction of the nursery education grant in 2004. We raised over £80,000 to purchase the bigger building which enables us to open longer hours. I am proud of Kipling Lions and all the great children that have passed through us, and I am very pleased to be working with the best staff team around. I think our low staff turnover speaks volumes as to how well we all work together.

I joined Kipling Lions in March 2006 and became Senco in September 2009.
I have 2 children.
I became a committee member at a local Pre school in Saltdean as this was where my daughter went, I was the treasurer.
In 2005 I decided to retrain and obtained my Level 2 in 2006 during this time and before I started at Kipling Lions. I volunteered at the pre school in Saltdean. I then went on and achieved my level 3 in February 2009.
I really enjoy my job and I am very proud of Kipling Lions, we are a great team and work really well together.
